Billing Specialist

 

Position Description:

  • Processing, tracking and completing insurance premium payments
  • Processing plan cancellations requests
  • Issuing billing adjustments
  • Handling inbound and outbound calls with customers regarding payment inquiries
  • Performing data entry & termination of insurance plans onto Company’s business software
  • Perform clerical tasks and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Requirements for this position include a high school diploma
  • Two to three years experience working in billing preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google applications
  • Skills include: exceptional customer service, strong verbal and written skills, good quality research abilities, superior organizational skills, advanced multi-tasking, and the ability to respond to questions in a tactful and professional manner
