Internal Insurance Sales Manager

Job Description:
Insurance Internal Sales Manager is responsible for building and developing the internal insurance sales team. Manages team performance to achieve maximum profitability and growth in line with company goals. Assesses metrics to determine training needs and tools to help the SASid sales team improve performance. He/she is ensuring that targets are met and performance is at its peak.

SASid has a growing team of internal insurance sales representatives which handle thousands of insurance calls every week. SASid has developed proprietary insurance marketplaces where customers can shop online or over the phone for individual insurance products directly. SASid is searching for a highly energetic, fun, and motivated leader to help our amazing sales team help more customers access our valuable insurance products.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and leading a team involved in sales activities.
  • Proactive assessments to adjust and adapt quickly as needed to maintain and build performance
  • Ability to set goals and incentives for growth, reward those achieving and address those that are not
  • Real time leadership to ensure that targets are met and performance is at its peak.
  • Possess excellent communication skills to communicate with sales team and company leadership
  • Perform inbound lead generation and evaluation
  • Assess and optimize strategies for lead conversion both inbound and outbound
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on the internal sales activities of the company with assessment
  • Deliver, manage, train, and install technology solutions (Phone Software, CRM, SASid proprietary software)
  • Hire and grow team based on SASid culture (purpose, progress, innovation)
  • Foster partnership with customers/stakeholders/sponsors

Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading and developing sales team to improved performance
  • Managerial abilities
  • Multi-tasking ability; ability to be flexible enough to handle numerous tasks
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Must be an excellent communicator, whether orally or on paper
  • Must possess good organizational leadership skills
  • Understands cloud based phone, crm, & sales lead software
  • Able to demonstrate a positive, energetic approach to projects.
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneur approach and ownership of a situation.
  • Willingness to travel
  • Motivated and result driven.
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knows their way around a computer, keyboard shortcuts, Google apps.
  • 3+ year(s) experience in managing and growing a team
  • State Insurance license a bonus (can acquire after hire date)
  • Experience leading project-oriented teams and workgroups
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong meeting process, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to do complex problem-solving.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business related field
